Easter is approaching on March 31st. As we eagerly anticipate this Holy Day, let us take a moment to pause and pray.
Dear Lord, we are grateful for the love you have shown to this world by giving your one and only Son, so that we too might be called your children. Let us rejoice and live in the joy and grace of Easter Sunday every day, and be thankful for your sacrifice. May we always have hearts of gratitude and eyes that see your grace, rejoicing in our salvation. Grant us the strength to walk in your grace and share your good news with the world. All for your glory we pray, Lord. Amen.

Pros and Cons of Mobile Apps
Paperless Transactions is highly experienced in app development for churches and ministries. Our apps focus on donation management, including safety and security features to protect any financial details. Dedicated to the religious sector, no one understands your needs better than us.
Church app development is becoming increasingly popular among churches and ministries. An app can help maintain the connection with the congregation, offer features such as Bible study, live streaming of sermons, updates, and donations.
Church app development creates mobile or web-based apps for churches and ministries. These apps offer features like daily Bible verses, live streaming of sermons, event scheduling, prayer requests, and digital tithing. They enhance the spiritual journey of parishioners and foster communication, outreach, and engagement.
Pros of Church App Development
Enhance Engagement
Struggling to keep your congregation engaged in the weekly and daily happenings of the church? Members can access sermons, events, and other resources via a dedicated app at a click.
Convenient Donations
You can accept donations anonymously and conveniently through an app using modern, transparent payment vendors. Not only does it make it easier for members, but it also streamlines accounting and financial tracking for church administrators.
Integrated Communication
Push notifications keep the congregation informed about urgent updates, prayer requests, or upcoming events. Some apps even integrate a messenger feature, allowing members to chat about important topics.
Digital Outreach
Share sermons, testimonies, or event details on social media platforms using the app. It’s a modern evangelism tool. Link the sermons in your app to your YouTube channel, helping to build your church’s following beyond the bounds of your community.
Drawbacks of Church App Development
Cost Implications
Developing a new app has a reputation for being pricey. That’s both true and false. High-end, complex apps with tons of special features can set you back a fair amount. However, a focused app, such as a donation app, is cheaper than ever.
Technical Knowledge
Not everyone has the expertise to create an app from scratch. Unless someone in your congregation is particularly tech-savvy, getting up and running an app can be a struggle. We are increasingly smartphone and internet-orientated, so getting an app ready puts you ahead of the curve.
Security Concerns
Handling personal data, especially financial details, requires stringent security measures. Breaches can harm the church or ministry’s reputation and trustworthiness. Outsourcing your church app’s development to a third party helps address these security concerns.
Still want to build a church app? Don’t go it alone, with the right resources and support, it becomes manageable and cost-effective.

Did someone say
"Pi Day?"
The idea of "Pi Day" originated with physicist Larry Shaw, who organized the first Pi Day celebration at the San Francisco Exploratorium in 1988. Almost exactly twenty-one years later, on March 11, 2009, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution proclaiming March 14 to be National Pi Day.
The resolution encourages schools to teach their students about pi and to "engage them about mathematics." On behalf of the thousands and thousands of people who have enjoyed Pi Day and were, as a result, engaged about mathematics, thank you Mr. Shaw!
The symbol for Pi has been in use for over 250 years. The symbol was introduced by William Jones, a Welsh mathematician, in 1706. Since the exact value of pi can never be calculated, we can never find the accurate area or circumference of a circle.
March 14 or 3/14 is celebrated as pi day because 3.14 are the first digits of pi. Math enthusiasts around the world love celebrating this infinitely long, never-ending number!
The value of pi is approximately 3.14, or 22/7. To 39 decimal places, pi is 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197. Pi is an irrational number, which means it is not equal to the ratio of any two whole numbers.
Q: We use Planning Center at our church. Why are we having problems with our ledger row and outdated donor IDs?
A:When a record is merged or changed in Planning Center, sometimes, PCO assigns a new Donor ID to the Donor and we are not given this new information. When this occurs, we attempt to push the donation to the old Donor ID, causing the transaction to not show up in Planning Center. Other possibilities are the Fund IDs not being updated or changed properly. Unfortunately, Paperless Transactions are unable to log in to your PCO account and see exactly what is showing up.

Mark 16:1-4: "When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, 'Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?' But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away."
